Let Claude use your Mac.
You stay in charge.

CU mac lets Claude Code click, type and look around in your apps, on a screen you pick, while you keep working. Press Esc and it stops.

Free · macOS 14 or later · Apple silicon and Intel · Works with Claude Code

Always clear who's at the wheel.

A glowing ring runs around the screen whenever the AI works, and a small note narrates every step, so you never have to guess what it's doing.

⎋

Press esc to stop

One key stops the AI instantly. It has to ask you before it may continue, and you can tell it not to ask again.

⏯

Pause any time

Press play/pause, or the button on the pill, for a minute of quiet. Each press adds another minute.

↔︎

Keep working

The AI waits until you stop typing, acts, then hands your app and your mouse straight back.

One screen for the AI

With an external display, pick which one the AI may use. Your own screen stays yours.

Private stays private.

Every app gets a level. Changing one needs your Touch ID, and only you can do it. The AI can only ask.

Hidden from AIBlanked out of every screenshot. Password managers by default; banking and messaging apps are suggested at setup.
Can only lookIt may read what's on screen, nothing more.
Can clickClicks and scrolls, but no typing. Browsers, terminals and code editors start here.
Full controlEverything, for the apps you're happy to hand over.
🌐

Websites too

Hide your bank or password vault even inside a browser. Setup suggests sites you use, checked on your Mac only.

🔑

You sign in, not the AI

When it reaches a login, a popup on your screen takes you there. You type the password and it carries on.

Asks in plain words

Need more access? You see what it wants, why, and what could go wrong, then allow it once, for this task, or never.

Ready in two minutes.

Allow a few permissionsNear the end, the intro walks you through Accessibility, Screen Recording and Touch ID, one at a time, and says why each is needed.
Tell Claude what to doPick a first task at the end of the intro, or ask Claude Code anything that needs your Mac's apps.
